Bold & Beautiful Embroils Sheila in Mystery — and Takes Deacon Along With Her

The Bold and the Beautiful has served up countless mysteries over the years, most of them being of the “Who’s the daddy?” variety. But currently, the show is unspooling a head-scratcher that’s been going on for two years — and, weirder still, it doesn’t seem to remember that it is!
It can’t just be us, can it, going, “What the heck?” every time we see Sheila doing her best Flo from Alice at Il Giardino. We get that she wants to be with loverboy Deacon every nanosecond that she can, but to work a waitress’ hours hawking breadsticks to gluten-free Angelenos? It makes no sense — and can’t possibly, even to a card-carrying nutjob like her!
Here’s why. Sheila is rich. Like, mega-rich. Like, if Bill is Dollar Bill, she’s Million-Dollar Sheila rich. Bold & Beautiful seems to have forgotten when she was on the lam in 2022, but we sure haven’t. When she was enticing Deacon to make his hovel the setting of their own personal version of The Odd Couple, she sweetened the offer by informing him, “I have money… a lot of it. Tell me a number. Go ahead, Deacon. Tell me what you need.”
Sheila made it clear that she could grant all of his champagne wishes and make his caviar dreams come true to boot. Merely getting by? Pfft. “I can change all of that for you,” she assured him.
Yet two years, a bizarre Get Out of Jail Free card and an engagement later, Sheila hasn’t even ponied up to get spiffier Il Giardino uniforms. Deacon had to find his own way to buy the restaurant. And when the merry murderess needed an attorney, she didn’t just back up the Brink’s truck to the highest-powered one in L.A., she went begging babydaddy Jack.
